Brian McFadden infuriates fans by slamming Eminem in ‘disgraceful’ Twitter rant

The former Westlife star compared the iconic rapper to ‘Screech’ from Saved By The Bell in the rather unusual Twitter post

Are you okay there Brian?

Former Westlife star Brian McFadden has taken to Twitter this afternoon to complain about a photograph of rap superstar Eminem.

The 38-year-old shared a snap of the ‘Real Slim Shady’ hit-maker posing up a storm with his musical peer 50 Cent.

Alongside the star-studded snap, the Dublin native admitted that he thinks Eminem is a genius, but felt annoyed at the way in which he poses for the camers.

Brain wrote: “I love Eminem as an artist. He’s a genius. But why does he always make that I’m hard as nails gansta don’t f**k with me face?”

The singer then confessed that he saw a huge comparison between Eminem and the character Screech in iconic teen sit-com, Saved By The Bell.

“He’s really just screech from saved by the bell with a chain around his neck” he continued.

Brian’s opinion was met with much criticism as fans hit back claiming that the former Westlife star had no right to comment on the star.

One fan retaliated by bashing his solo career since leaving the insanely popular Irish band.

Another follower insinuated that Brian’s remark was a rather racist one.

Others challenged the singer by asking him to say it to Eminem’s face.

“You literally don’t have a leg to stand on. Say this to his face you absolute loser”.

While another wrote: “Delete your Twitter mate. So disgraceful!”.

Despite the fact that the majority of fans and followers were not impressed with Brian’s tweet, others laughed it off by claiming that it was the funniest thing they’ve seen online “all year”.

And other’s were shocked by the resemblance of the rapper and the Saved By The Bell star.

“How have I never noticed this before? They’re the same person, oh my god!”.

This comes after the former Westlife star took swipe at his ex wife Kerry Katona as he explained why his daughters won’t be bridesmaid.

The singer shares daughters Molly, 18, and Lilly, 16, with ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, and says they’re probably sick of playing such a major role in a wedding.
